Bay Thi Tran

–

Boston, Massachusetts

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Bay Thi Tran, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on October 14, 2026. Born in Saigon, Vietnam on July 28, 1931, Bay was an ambitious and dedicated woman who devoted her life to the service of her family and the Lord, her passionate spirit and loving heart will forever be remembered.

Bay was a woman of unwavering faith, her dedication to the Roman Catholic Church was a testament to her deep spiritual beliefs. She sought solace in her prayerful life, often spending time at St Ambrose Parish, where she fervently prayed the Rosary. Bay was a humble soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening, cherished her time at the senior center, and found joy in the beauty of the beach. A hero in the truest sense, Bay raised her eight children single-handedly while her husband was a prisoner of war under the Communist regime in Vietnam. Her life was a testament to the verse from Proverbs 31:28, "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."

Bay is survived by her 8 children, Phung, Thu, Bich, Nam, Dung, Hoa, Hung, Chi, 4 daughter in-laws, 2 sons in-laws, 20 grandchildren, 18 great grand-children. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and resilience, and her life will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
