Ms. Federica Marina Solomon Obituary (1935

Federica Marina Solomon was born in Belize, Central America, to Gwendolyn Isola Solomon & Archibald Jones. Needing to be closer to family, Gwendolyn traveled to La Ceiba, Honduras, where she re-registered Federica as a Honduran citizen. Federica emigrated to the United States in 1966 in order to find work and support her young family. In 1969, she was able to secure Visas for her four children and bring them to live with her in Boston, Massachusetts. She provided a loving home for her children & grandchildren to flourish in and welcomed other family & friends in with open arms. She loved to travel and spend time with family & friends. She was active in many civic and religious organizations from which her presence will surely be missed. Federica leaves to cherish her memory: her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other family & friends. Funeral Arrangements: Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10am. Due to the restrictions for the Covid 19 pandemic, the funeral service will be limited to just the family. Other relatives & friends are invited to watch the service via a live weblink that will be provided on this web page. Internment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Roslindale immediately following the funeral service.
